Great post! I am a big music fan despite not knowing any theory behind it. In fact, I admitted to a musician friend of mine recently that I have no idea how to tell what the bass guitar is doing. That said, I am more drawn to simple songs with good melodies and evocative lyrics than I am to complex musicianship.
